Choose from their Classic plan, which at $17 USD/month* and comes with a custom domain for 1 year, hosting, and loads of functionality, or their Business Basic plan at $26 USD/month*, which comes with everything in the Classic plan but also allows you to accept online payments: a necessity if you’re selling books, e-books, webinars, or online courses.

Note: you will need to create an account with Wix and pay them for your hosting plan prior to our being able to design your website.

1. What are the 5 pages* that come with the design?
The custom Wix author website design is built with a Home (Landing) page, an About page, and a Contact page, plus any 2 other pages you’d like (blog or vlog, testimonials and blurbs, a sales page with links to online booksellers, a portfolio of your work, your CV, etc.) and formatted to accommodate for the content to be put onto that page. Additional pages may be added at our hourly rate.
*Note: a “page” is the vessel that will ultimately hold whatever it is you wish. All copy, images, or links to go into the page must either be provided by you, or we’re happy to write or edit your copy (Website 5-Page Copy Writing Package or custom Copy Editing) or help with images and set up additional functionality as our add-on hourly service.
2. What are the next steps after I buy the site design package?
You will be invited to join your designer in a private team on our editors’ platform and will receive two questionnaires to help you identify and articulate your design vision: a brand guide and a website design sheet. These elements help your designer determine the look and feel of you as a brand and how your site should be portrayed visually.
3. How many versions of the design are included?
Your designer will create 2 versions of the website:
a. Based on your website design questionnaire and brand guide, your designer will create a first version of the site and review it with you live. At that time, you can discuss the design and provide changes.
b. Your designer will revise the site based on your changes and put it into Wix. They will then share the URL of the site with you for any last changes to be made in writing.*Further design changes may be made at our hourly rate.
4. Is it possible for me to take over the site upkeep and management?
Absolutely! Your designer will meet with you at the culmination of the project to walk you through how your site works and show you how to make changes, add pages, or edit your content.
Or if you would rather let us help you with the site upkeep and growth, we’re happy to add or edit your content and pages, implement new plug-ins, or adjust elements on an as-needed basis (hourly rate will apply).
